Our Process

WORK WITH US

Our Approach

Our remodeling process is designed to help us deliver a project for you that is exactly what you wanted, on schedule, and on budget.

Snapshot of our Process

Initial Discussion - The goal is to outline project objectives, establish priorities, and discuss budgets, timeframe, and design fees, typically ranging from $500 to $3500 based on project scope, providing estimates via phone based on past experience.

Discovery Meeting - Confirm the project's site and scope details while providing rough estimates, followed by signing the design agreement and paying the design fee.

Design Meetings - The process involves precise field measurements, exploring material options, photographing designated areas, and planning a meeting to discuss conceptual design choices, as well as reviewing and approving at a secondary meeting.

Project Presentation Meeting - Examine the detailed project scope, discuss the base construction cost and budget allocations, approve the finalized design, review the construction agreement, and ultimately sign it off.

Detailed Process

Let’s Talk

  • Discuss your project goals and what you want to achieve

  • Define project priorities

  • Discuss desired budgets, investment, and timeframe

  • Review Project Design Fee (Investment dependent on size/scope of work, typically ranges from $500-$3500)

Discovery Meeting, if your desired investment and scope are within the expectation

  • Allows for a site visit and “dreaming” conversation. (What can be?)

  • Confirm project site and scope parameters, still ballpark numbers.

  • Pre-project walkthrough video. A short video to document what the project is.

  • Phase 1 Design agreement signed and design fee paid.

Phase 1 | Design Meeting

  • Field measuring and introduction to our designer to target project details.

  • Photograph all areas included in the scope of work.

  • Create conceptual 3-D design plans for your project.

Design Review Meeting (Often done in the office or web-based meeting)

  • Schedule a meeting to review conceptual design options and work with the client and designer to finalize the design.

  • Review the completed design for approval.

Phase 2 | Design Meeting

  • Schedule an in-person selection day to make selections for your project. This will be a scheduled day that will include a representative from PB&R accompanying you to showrooms and suppliers to assist with all of the product selections for the project.

  • Once all selections are completed, schedule a site visit with tradesmen and vendors.

  • Once all of the information has been collected from our tradesmen and vendors, we will develop the project cost and prepare a project construction agreement.

Project Proposal Presentation Meeting

  • Review the detailed project proposal scope of work and project materials provided list.

  • Present the final proposal construction agreement with the total investment for the entire project.

  • Discuss the draw schedule and deposit at signing. (Draws are based on project completion landmarks).

  • Signing of construction agreement.

Project Production Meeting

  • Immediately after signing the construction agreement, we will begin ordering project specialty materials.

  • Apply for all applicable permits.

  • Conduct a tradesman meeting to work together with all specialties and create a project schedule from project start to project finish.

Project Production

  • Finalize delivery time for all project materials.

  • Provide a preliminary calendar of project timelines.

  • Initiate and facilitate the project from start to finish. This includes an assigned project manager who will communicate and coordinate all tradesmen and materials while being available to the client and keeping the client informed daily on progress.

  • Finalize all inspections and permits for your project as needed.

Post-Construction Meeting

  • Our management team will conduct a final walkthrough with the client to ensure complete satisfaction.

  • If the client permits, take final pictures of the project.

  • We’ll continue following up with you to see how you’re enjoying your project.
