The Importance of Clear Communication During Remodeling

Good, clear communication is essential for remodeling success. That should start with your first interaction with a remodeler and continue until the last tiny detail of your project is completed.

Here are three quick things we do to ensure that communication stays strong throughout the remodeling process:

1. Don’t Assume: We make sure we are talking about the same thing and are on the same page. If we aren’t sure about something, we’ll ask you. Likewise, if you ever aren’t sure about a detail or part of the process, be sure to ask.

2. Put it in Writing: When we discuss selections or details, we’ll be sure to put in writing exactly what we decided together. With so many details and decisions to make, we want to document things so that we deliver exactly the project that you have dreamed about.

3. Schedule Regular Conversations: During the project, we set a regular and consistent time for us to touch base, answer any questions, and tell you exactly what to expect and what’s coming up.

Our goal is to give you prompt and remarkable communication throughout the remodeling process. Keeping open lines of communication is a critical part of a successful remodeling experience.

Just for the fun of it…

Being Old: The oldest family-owned business is the Japanese construction company Kongo Gumi, which was founded in 578AD to build Buddhist temples and has been doing so ever since. In 2006 it was absorbed as a subsidiary of Takamatsu.

While we can’t claim that kind-of longevity… By doing great work for our clients – we plan on being here for many, many years to come!
