Lake Life At Its Best
It's amazing what new siding and composite decking can do for a home. Not only is it much more maintenance-free, but also gives a nice clean finish. Not only were our clients looking for a fresh look to their home, but also a new design layout for the deck and a new screen room off of the master bedroom. The new deck is constructed with 6 x 6 posts with a composite footing pad, 2 x 10 treated lumber for the main structure of the deck and screen room. Our clients chose a two-tone color combination for their new color layout which really looks sharp together. The outer edge of the deck surface and stairs is picture framed with Azek, Dark Hickory color, and the inner portion is finished with Azek, Slate Gray. The railing is a two-part system utilizing Trex, Gravel Path Gray transcend with the Wild hog panel freedom fill option in black. We felt this would give a nice finish to the composite drink rail. We used the same finishes on the screen room, wrapping all treated lumber with Azek, composite material. The interior wall has the same siding color as the rest of the home, which is a Celect siding in Castle Stone, with Frost color trims. The ceiling is completed with an aluminum soffit and includes recessed lighting and a ceiling fan. Our clients enjoy early mornings and evenings in their private retreat, overlooking the lake!
